Romano Nervoso is a rock band with a nervous frontman Romano, who cannot stand still. Which is a good thing, because it means that there is a big chance you will not stand still as well.
Based in Belgium with Italian and Belgian members, frontman Romano is the self-proclaimed king of spaghetti rock, certainly arousing fear and trembling for Ennio Marricone. Imagine the golden era of rock’n'roll led by T-Rex and AC/DC, adding a dose of New York Dolls glitter and a pinch of early punk energy, grated with Italian cheese, baking in oven at 220 and voilà, Romano Nervoso, concert treat of primal energy is ready!
So far, they have released three studio albums: Italian Stallions (2012), Romano Nervoso Presents Born To Boogie (2014) and I Don’t Trust Anybody Who Doesn’t Like Rock’n'roll (2018). They released the latest The Return of the Rocking Dead in March on record label Mottow Soundz. With their unique sound and eccentric live performances, they have attracted the attention not only of rock enthusiasts across Europe, but also of the leading creators of today’s rock’n'roll scene. The band has performed as an opening act to The Sonics, King Khan & The Shrines, Triggerfinger, Johnny Hallyday and many more, and recently released the single Wild Boy from the forthcoming album, which also features Canadian prince of modern rock’n'roll Danko Jones.
